New home page, alpha overlay, and bugfixes

Steven Skoczen wrote this Jan. 22, 2009 for SixLinks Developers .
Yep, more changes are coming online. Some of you may have noticed the completely redone home page. There's also an alpha testing info overlay that you'll see once per (per browser quit) if you're not logged in that should make it clearer the state of the site.

That way, my mom will know what being a 'public beta' is. Otherwise, she and lots of other smart people would be confused.

There are also some small bugfixes throughout, and a new feedback and bugs page, that you'll see down at the bottom of every page.

Wait until you see the new community, and start a fix/guide pages!

The new home page looks awesome. I'll worry about breaking it later.

I didn't receive an email of your comment. Damnit, emails are broken again.

Glad you like the new home page!

Did emails ever work for blog comments?
Steven Skoczen Jan. 23, 2009
Yep. They were quietly added about a week ago.

More importantly, they should work again now.
