That is correct! What sort of time delay power circuit are you talking looking for?

I'm looking for something which is basically a box which takes ac in and puts ac out when on (like a power strip). But once on, will only stay on for a given amount of time before cutting power.

I know they had something like this for the lights in the libraries at Cornell (push a button or turn a dial and the lights come on. Some time later they go back off)

Oh, like the things they have on heat lamps in hotel rooms. Cool idea for putting on a surge protector - I'd love to have all of my coffee equipment on one of these.
