Happy SixLinks Launch Day!

I'm really excited to see the alpha testing off to such an exciting start. It's really great to get everyone's opinions on site design and function, and to see how differently we all use the site from the start.

I'm also looking forward to writing a Go Veggie guide and an Eat Less Meat guide. I had an idea for a "Veggie Party" - kind of like an info session, but much more informal. It would be held at someone's house, and there could be some sort of printed information (fliers?) with information on going veggie, as well as a number of vegetarian dishes (breakfast, lunch and dinner) to show people that vegetarian food CAN be yummy. Sort of like Noodle, without the storyline. So this may be my next big guide.

That's a damn good question. A neighborhood butcher?

I found this: http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070425101712AAVo7eq

Jeff, I think I'll leave the Eat Less Meat to you for now and I'll start on the Go Veggie; I realized that since I haven't eaten meat in 7 years, I probably don't have much insight for people who still do. ;)

What I did want to emphasize in the Eat Less Meat guide was the importance of going for local meat, free-range meat, etc. I'm sure you've got that covered though.

I was going to write a Eat Less Meat guide as well. I want to include a resource for what animal different meats are from (like pepperoni and sobrassada and bologna). Anyone have any ideas on where to get this info besides wikipedia?
