Rachel's action: Donate to a wildlife project

Wildlife organizations can be an important part of working to prevent key animals from going extinct. Groups big and small could always use some additional help.
Step 1: Research local and global groups read more
A quick Google search should come up with a number of organizations. Alternatively you can ask for suggestions and talk about different groups on our discussion pages.

Step 2: Pick one to help out read more
Read the missions of the different groups you are looking at and pick the one that most appeals to you. You could potentially combine this with the Follow An Endangered Species guide and donate to a group working with the species you are following.

Step 3: Donate your money or your time read more
We recommend half a day's worth of wages or a day's worth of your time a year. Optionally, you can sign-up for a newsletter or mailing list to hear what is happening with the group.
