Be able to edit your posts on the new guides

Status: Someday not so soon

Description:
If this is already planned feel free to ignore.

It should be possible to edit the posts you make as you are completing a fix (or action or whatever they are called now).

That way if you forget to add the html tags around a link for example, you can fix it.

This is sort of done, but it's tricky. Here's the scenarios:

1. You write a full 'blog' post. These can be edited, etc.
2. You post a comment/update via the guide. These can't be edited.
The reason for not allowing them to be edited they're much more timeline-based. Allowing edits or changes essentially revises history, and can make reading back through them difficult. Few web sites allow editing of comments, for precisely that reason.

As far as HTML tags, etc - we automatically clean up errant tags, so there's not an issue with the page breaking.

We will however, allow people to delete comments, where a "comment removed" message will show.

In that case, could you make the blog button more prominent on the page while filling out the action.

One other option I've seen elsewhere is to allow editing for the first 5 minutes after a comment has been made. This lets you fix the mistakes you notice as soon as you hit submit and/or see it rendered.
