Sam's action: Recycle everything you can

We put a lot of resources and energy into producing materials, and there are very few things that are so worthless when you are done with them that you should just bury them in a landfill. It's much better to first reuse, then recycle all the materials you can.

Look online or contact your municipality or waste collection agency to find out what can and can not be recycled. If you have things like electronics that can't be recycled at the curb, check out resources like Earth 911 to learn where to recycle more obscure items.

Mostly I recycle the containers and glossy paper. The standard paper usually goes to feed the worms instead (not sure if this qualifies as recycling). My biggest problem is the biweekly recycling pickup that I seem to always forget until the next day when I see all the empty bins on the street.
