Guide: Visit a new state/province park

Steps to get it done:

Check out this guide, and get motivated
While national parks are very cool and important, they also tend to take up a big part of the natural space spotlight. Visiting state parks lets you experience and appreciate your own, local, natural spaces. Plus, sometimes it helps to keep the parks running.
Step 1: Pick a local state or provincial park you haven't been to
Your state will likely have a webpage that lists all the parks they manage, where they are, and any important information about them. Pick one you haven't been to.
Step 2: Spend an afternoon there
Go explore all the different areas of the park. Try to do more than find the nearest picnic table.
Step 3: Leave the space as it was, or better
Make sure to take out any trash you produced, obey any park rules, don't remove anything, and don't forget to check yourself for insects before leaving so you don't spread invasive species around.
